Girls Night Fun

Friday was my last day of co-op placement (yay!) and it was also one of the best nights I’ve had in a while.  A couple of friends and I had a ‘girls night’/birthday party for one of our good friends.  It was such a fun and relaxed night, I even lost my voice temporarily due to all the laughs! It’s such a blessing to have good friends like I do!  Here’s what I wore to our ‘partay’.

Girls Night Outfit

  1. OMG I LOVE UR OUTFIT!! i’m trying to dress more modest for college (i’m a freshman) can you PLEASE tell me how you made you head scarf like that >> the picture on the right, it’s so pritty. i love the flowerish on the side. here is my e-mail

    1. Jazak’Allah Nadra! May Allah make your effort of trying to dress more modestly for college easy on you.

For the flower on the headscarf what I did was wrap the scarf like I usually do and just bunched up the longer end that was wrapped around my head. I held it together with stick pins, adjusting it until it looked somewhat like a flower then I used a dangling hijab pin in the centre.

I hope you understand how I did it 🙂 Just experiment and iA, you’ll get it 😀

  2. assalamualaikum sister. I love your outfit, it looks great on you! However, I would like to point out something. I think that the black top you wore underneath your dress is too tight and it is not really modest to be worn. My suggestion, you can wear a cardigan or a bolero on top of that dress. 🙂
